I’ve been in your sneakers so I get where you’re at

As an Indian woman, I was raised in a home emphasizing education and success, rarely acknowledging physical or mental health. I grew up wanting to be a successful doctor, a dedicated wife, and an incredible mother. Healthy habits were the last thing on my mind.

However, I also grew up in New York, where being thin and always on the go were the norm. This way of life eventually drew me in, leading me down a dark path of extreme dieting, body dysmorphia, and unrealistic expectations.

To others, my shrinking body was something to celebrate. To me, it represented the external manifestation of the negative self-talk and feelings of overwhelm on a constant loop inside my head. Keeping up with life’s demands while also obsessing over the scale and the reflection in the mirror is exhausting—trust me, I get it.

But here’s where the story gets good. After years of working to understand how the body functions, what it needs to thrive, and what a balanced life looks like—while working in a field that showcases the other side—I’ve intentionally created a life where health and happiness go hand-in-hand. And I evicted the bully in my brain.

See ya later, limiting beliefs.

The best part? I turned it into a framework that helps women take charge of our health and truly get the most out of life, one small habit at a time.

Proactive wellness saves lives

LITERALLY (I’VE SEEN IT)

As an ER physician, I’ve seen what happens when you ignore your health and put wellness on the back burner. Eventually, it catches up to you through chronic illness and disease.

Being Indian, I am predisposed to cardiovascular disease and diabetes, two diseases greatly impacted by lifestyle choices. I learned the reality of this non-modifiable risk factor the hard way—a gestational diabetes diagnosis while pregnant with my daughters. It didn’t matter that I’d been conscious of my habits for years, making sure to move daily, eat my veggies, get enough rest, and prioritize self-care. All that mattered were my genetics.

My health wake-up call and the daily realization that being proactive can save lives is why I decided to pursue health and wellness coaching.

Because at the end of the day, all I want for women like you is a life you love—one that brings you joy, overflows with incredible experiences, and lasts a really, really long time.

That’s what health and wellness are really about.

  • Before working with a coach, I felt like I was not educated enough in health and fitness. Someone referred me to Preyasi , and I decided to change from fad diets to something I can do forever. Now, I am drinking more water, eating better and sleeping better. I feel much more confident! I encourage others to just do it! Make yourself a priority!

It’s Not A Transformation—It’s an Evolution

It’s Not A Transformation—It’s an Evolution

My Philosophy

MIND, BODY, AND NUTRITION MEET HABIT-STACKING

I believe health comes from regularly practicing movement that strengthens and energizes, nourishment that fuels and sustains, and self-care that recharges us. Whether you want to lose weight, gain muscle, or simply increase energy, all three areas deserve your attention.

The easiest way to integrate these changes into your life is by adopting one habit at a time and slowly creating routines that fit your lifestyle while getting you closer to your goals (scroll down for some simple habits you can start with today).

But the real key is having support and accountability, which is where I come in (yay for learning to ask for help!). My non-judgemental, compassionate approach helps busy women create lifelong wellness habits that stick—because I’m right there with you, creating my own.

Sure, you’ll love the way you look

BUT YOU’LL LOVE THESE SO MUCH MORE

  • Not needing to train for your vacation to Banff—because you can confidently climb any mountain, take any hike, and bike any path

  • Waking up each morning in a pain-free body—after a solid 8 hours of refreshing sleep

  • Feeling confident about the food you buy & order—no more fear or confusion around mealtime

  • Understanding how to identify what your body needs—whether that’s rest, movement, or a little bit of play

A QUICK EXPLANATION OF YOUR MOST POWERFUL HEALTH TOOL

Habit Stacking 101

Our brains are wired to prioritize the behaviors we regularly do—like brushing our teeth, feeding the dog, or grabbing the mail.

So, instead of trying to learn a new habit all on its own, habit stacking is a technique where you pair a new behavior with an old one—training your brain to create a new neural pathway that says, “When you do X, you also do Y.”

And because your brain already loves to do X, it becomes a lot easier to make Y a daily habit!

A few habits to start with

STEAL THESE SIMPLE HABITS FOR A HEAD-START ON YOUR HEALTH JOURNEY

  • After you turn the coffee maker on → Drink 12oz of water with a shot of ACV

  • When you finish a meal → Take a 5-minute walk before returning to your day

  • Within 30 minutes of waking up → Head to the gym for a strength workout
